MLSpulse allows you to track the equity in your home. The Benefits to You of MLSpulse
Searching for the right home can be a time-consuming and tedious process. MLSpulse does the searching for you per the search criteria you have entered. The benefits to you are four-fold.
- The searching is done automatically, thereby saving your time,
- You are notified of all new or updated listings meeting your criteria within 10 minutes of them being posted on the Multiple Listing Service,
- At any time you can access your search and change your search criteria,
- With listings in hand, you can explore towns and neighborhoods on your own to get a feel for the areas in which you would like to live.
MLSpulse Follow-Up
Research studies have shown that potential homebuyers spend an average of five months from the time they start thinking about buying a new home until the time they actually do. With this in mind, I encourage our potential homebuyers to use MLSpulse for as long as they desire.
I will never set up a phone campaign asking, "When are you planning to buy?" Instead, I will periodically email you useful and informative information to benefit those searching for a home in Connecticut.
Note of Caution
If you are already looking at homes in Connecticut with another REALTOR® and have signed a Buyer's Agreement with that REALTOR®, then please do not use MLSpulse. It would be a violation of the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS® for me to also be assisting you. My service is not meant as a solicitation.

Relocation >Help Your Real Estate Agent
Once your home is listed for sale, it may be difficult for you to step aside and let your agent take over. When prospective buyers arrive, you may want to stand by to point out the closet extenders, the hidden spice cabinet behind the kitchen door, the energy-saving storm windows or the updated copper plumbing. If you really want to help, however, you will leave the house whenever it is being shown!
We have found that the sales process does not really begin until buyers have begun to voice their objections about a property. Sometimes these concerns are serious enough to remove your house from consideration. Often, however, people voice objections as an automatic response when they really love the house and want to buy it. Real estate professionals are trained to know the difference.
If a seller is standing at the agent's elbow, the buyer won't be comfortable enough to allow the process of raising objections take place. If the buyer feels intimidated or suppressed, we could lose the sale. The best way to help is to give your real estate agent room to make the sale.
